The Zednet team (c/o WRP Consulting Engineers) respect your privacy and will not disclose any of your personal information or any data stored under your name to any third party. We hereby confirm that no information of any nature that you provide will be distributed to anyone without your permission.

This Privacy Statement outlines the approach adopted by WRP with regard to the handling of any information that is gathered when you are on Zednet’s site, and when you use Zednet's services.


No information is gathered by the Zednet mobile application – it is simply a reporting interface to the desktop/web based application. Any account information entered into the app is for your convenience only, to facilitate automatic login to the Zednet backend server. Zednet collects personally identifiable information when a client account is set up for you and when you provide information via the various forms within the web based application.

Zednet may collect the following personally identifiable information: a user’s name, title, phone number, email address, mailing address, website URL, employer or company. No billing information is gathered online and the subscription process is managed entirely offline. WRP also automatically receives and records information on our server from your browser including your IP address, browser type, referrer page, domain name, access time, entry page, exit page and operating system type.

We use such information to measure our business success, to identify the most effective ways to contact you in order to try to tailor the service to more effectively meet your needs. If you set up email based reports or alarms, these will be sent directly to you since they are configured by you.


Zednet hosts the data stored in your Zednet account. The data are strictly your property and governed by the Zednet's Terms of Service Agreement. The data in your account are not accessible to anyone else, unless you choose to make any or all of your data accessible to others.


WRP; by does not transfer any Personal Data to third parties and will never do so without your full approval in the event that a third party should acquire ZEDNET or WRP.


Certain WRP employees have various access levels to Zednet systems, including databases, for the purposes of support, backups, maintenance, debugging, and other administrative and programming activities. However, WRP will not disclose, sell, or rent the data stored in your Zednet account or your personally identifiable information to anyone unless you agree for one of the following reasons:

  1. When we have your consent to share the information or you request that we do so.
  2. When we need to share your information to provide you with a service or product you are requesting.
  3. When we are required by law, to respond to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal processes.
  4. When you have violated our Terms of Service Agreement for the service you are using or have used.
  5. When we act under special circumstances to protect the personal safety of our customers or the public.
  6. When we need to protect and defend the rights or property of WRP.

By using our website and our services and providing us with your personal data, you consent to this transfer of your personal data.


The Terms of Service Agreement expressly prohibits children under the age of 18 from using Zednet's services.

The Site and Zednet services use cookies tied to personally identifiable information for their operation. Certain services and functionalities will not work if you disable cookie functions on your browser.
Google Analytics uses a first-party cookie and JavaScript code to collect information about visitors to this Site. Google Analytics anonymously tracks how our visitors interact with this website, including where they came from, what they did on the site, and whether they completed any transactions on the site such as news registration.


At any time, Zednet allows you to change or delete inaccuracies in the personally identifiable information you provided when signing up for the Zednet service.


Your Zednet account is password protected and all communications between your account and Zednet servers are encrypted with an industry-standard Secure Socket Layers protocol.
